African primates are not for sale. They should not be sold to the highest bidders as pets, exploited in egregious entertainment, or shot as hunting trophy mementos. Such trade is cruel to these highly intelligent and social animals. Yet thousands disappear from their homes every year and are sold, dead or alive, around the globe. Buying and selling African primates is simply unnecessary.
